Baked bananas make the perfect partners for delicious vanilla ice cream . It is a great idea to use a ripe bananas.
Preheat the oven to 180C. Place the unpeeled bananas on a baking sheet and brush with the lemon juice. Bake them for about 20 minutes until the skins are turning black.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Melt the butter and honey in a small pan. Add the hazelnuts and cook gently until a little brown, then add the lemon juice and heat, stirring, for a while.
To serve, slit each banana open with a knife and open out the skins to reveal the tender flesh. Put on the serving plates and serve with scoops of ice cream. pour the sauce over.
Serve at once. It is so yummy 🙂
