That is very easy to make and very tasty cake 🙂
Wash and dry strawberries , set aside. In a bowl mix the eggs, sugar, rum, milk and whisk slightly. Then you can put the bowl over steamed water and whisk with en electric mixer until smooth and fluffy.
Melt the butter, cool slightly and pour into batter, stirring continuously.
Sieve the flour and baking powder , Take the bowl off the heat and continue beating until the egg mixture to cool slightly. Add the flour, ground almonds and baking powder 1 tbsp at a time, mix until throughly combined.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin( 25cmx 20 cm ), arrange the strawbrries on the top. Preheat the oven to 170C and bake the cake for 40-45 minutes.
When is cool, dust with icing sugar and serve.
