One of my favorite afternoon tea. 

Sift the flour and baking powder into a small bowl, set aside.

With an electric mixer , cream the butter and sugar together. Add the eggs , vanilla and beat until fluffy.

Alternatrely add milk and flour.

The mixture should be more dense as the pancakes.

Preheat waffle maker, bake the waffles until golden brown.

Serve with cream and fruit on the top of each.
