Thank you Claire, this recipe is fantastic. Taste is delicious.
Line tray bake tin, stick down paperwith butter.
Beat sugar and butter till creamy. add the eggs 1 at the time. Fold in flourand ground almounds. Mix well. Stir in marzipan pieces, and beat to get good consystency.
Spread fruit on the top, press down slightly.
Bake at 170C for 30 minutes or untill cooked.
Remove and sprinklewith icing sugar whilst still hot.
