It is very Polish apple cake, we call it szarlotka
Put into the bowl butter, egg yolks, sifted flour, sugar, baking powder and mix with a hand a soft dough. Knead the dough on a lightly surface.
Put the dough into the fridge in a hour. Crumble 3/4 of dough into the prepared tin plate.
Add grated apples, Whisk the egg whites with 1 cup of sugar and put them of the top of apples .
Crumble remaining dough.
Preheat the oven to 180 c and bake for 40-45 minute
