Christmas time is coming, I love this time, it is a very family time. You can make cakes earlier and keep them in closed boxes. I do that every year. Before Christmes I have more time for myself 🙂

Beat the butter and sugar with an elektric food processor until smooth, then add the egg and mix well. Crush the nuts, but don’t let to become the flour.

Add the flour, nuts, soda into butter mixture and beat together to combine thoroughly. Drop rounded teaspoons of dough about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of greased glass dipped in sugar.

Bake in preheated oven to 200C for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

Leave on the baking sheets for 2 minutes to cool slightly.
