It is traditional recipes for naan are not as difficult as they may seem. The dough can be made in a food processor or thermomix.
Sift the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder into a bowl. Rub in the butter, add the crushed garlic, then gradually mix in the milk. Knead the dough for at least 5 minutes, then cover with a damp cloth and leave for a 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill to high for 10 minutes. Grease the pan well.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll out and form into a naan bread about 12cm in diameter. Put the naan bread on a pan and brush with the melted butter and garnish with herbs. Grill the naans below the heat source for 1,5 minutes, as they puff up, turn them and grill for about 1 minute or until brown patches appear on the secend side.
I I fried in the pan, because my grill is broken, but it was delicious too.
Wrap in the towel to keep hot.
